Raw Material for Skincare Formulation | Available in Egypt | Multiple Molecular Weights

Product Description

Hyaluronic Acid Powder (INCI: Sodium Hyaluronate) is one of the most in-demand active ingredients in modern cosmetic formulation. A powerful humectant capable of binding up to 1,000 times its weight in water, it is the gold standard for hydration in serums, moisturizers, eye creams, and hair care.

At Al-Assasi Chemicals, we stock multiple molecular weight grades — each with a distinct skin behavior — so formulators can choose the right grade for their specific product and performance target.

Which Grade Do You Need?

Grade Molecular Weight Skin Behavior Best For
Ultra Low MW 10 KDa Penetrates deepest skin layers Anti-aging serums, wrinkle-filling
Low MW 280 KDa Penetrates upper dermis Active serums, repair creams
High MW 800 KDa Forms film on skin surface Moisturizers, lightweight serums
High MW 800–1200 KDa Premium surface hydration & film Luxury creams, hair serums

Pro tip: Most high-performance serums use a blend of 2–3 molecular weights to target multiple skin layers simultaneously. Ask us about multi-grade pricing.

Typical Usage Rate

0.1% – 2.0% (w/w) depending on grade and desired texture. Higher concentrations create a gel-like feel; lower concentrations deliver invisible hydration.

How to Incorporate

  1. Disperse powder in a small amount of glycerin (optional, helps prevent clumping)
  2. Add to the water phase of your formula at room temperature
  3. Stir gently until fully dissolved — avoid high shear mixing
  4. For LMW grades (10 KDa), dissolution is faster; for HMW grades allow 15–30 minutes

Compatible With

Niacinamide, Vitamin C, Peptides, Panthenol, Allantoin, most preservative systems. Avoid high concentrations of alcohol which may reduce viscosity.
